Tasting Notes

We started with making a fermented blueberry syrup from fresh fruit and dried Queen Anne's lace we picked from our orchard. While the syrup melded together we took aged cider and combined it with even more blueberries for two weeks to let them get to know each other. We then combined the cider with the blueberry syrup to lightly sweeten it and bring in even more fresh blueberry notes to preserve the last hints of summer.
