
Ginger Co-Ferment
Dessert apples from Hard To Come by Farm in Mill Bay and fresh ginger from SunTrio Farms in Saanich. Ginger was added to our second apple press of the season within an hour of being harvested. A cool and slow fermentation allowed the two to meld together into a wonderfully dry cider with a pop of ginger on the nose with a slight warmth that arises before taking another sip. Serve lightly chilled.
